It was foggy out this morning. Real thick fog banks hanging over the land like a giant discarded walmart bag. I took the truck into work again today. I have been finding I enjoy riding in the truck. Of course, my car is really nasty and needs to be cleaned, so I think that is part of the problem.
At one point in the fog traffic came to a standstill. I could only see a few cars ahead of me, so I had no idea what was going on. Finally after five minutes I decided there had been an accident or something, and decided to take a different rout to work. As I tuend into the side lane and drove up a few feet, I saw that had been holding up the line. It was a schoolbus, and it was in front of the low-rent 'projects' apartments.
The sheer amount of kids you see standing outside this apartment division in the morning is sometimes startling. It's a small mob. It has to factor out to at least 1.5 kids per apartment. So, that was the reason the school buss was blocking traffic. It was waiting for this small haord to file onto the bus. The school must send out a special bus for the apartment complex alone.
Last night was not
hign exciting. Played with wood in my garage. There is somehting very Zen about cutting wood with a power saw. The focus and the moveoment of the blade as it follows the line.
I go to the dentist today at 1. My tooth has not had a flare up since I started taking the antibiotics, so that is a good thing.
